Social Media Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team in support of our US-based partner company, Second Screen Digital. Second Screen Digital is a full-funnel, data-driven marketing agency providing a wide range of services – from paid search and social to content production, UGC, SEO, and website design.

As a Social Media Manager, you will lead social strategy across platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, Youtube, and  LinkedIn, identify opportunities to scale, and collaborate with our content and creative teams to execute. Also, you should be comfortable guiding and contributing to the creative process.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Growth

  • Own and evolve the social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Analyze platform algorithms and trends to drive organic growth and engagement
  • Identify content opportunities based on data, audience insights, and competitor analysis
  • Develop and test growth strategies (formats, hooks, posting cadence, etc.)
  • Set KPIs and track performance against growth, reach, and engagement goals

Content Direction

  • Work closely with writers, designers, and video editors to guide content production
  • Provide clear briefs, creative direction, and feedback to ensure content aligns with strategy
  • Optimize content for each platform (captions, hashtags, hooks, thumbnails, etc.)
  • Stay ahead of trends and adapt them to fit the brand voice

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights
  • Run A/B tests on content formats and messaging
  • Continuously refine strategy based on results (not guesswork)

Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams to align social media with broader marketing goals
  • Coordinate content calendars and campaign rollouts
  • Support light graphic design or video editing 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience growing social media accounts on platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, Youtube, and  LinkedIn
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms and how content gets distributed
  • Strategic thinker who can connect content to business outcomes
  • Comfortable using analytics tools and interpreting performance data
  • Experience working with content teams (writers, designers, editors)
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (currently Zoho Social)

Plus:

  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Video editing experience – CapCut (short-form content especially)
  • Experience scaling accounts in our target demographic (30-55 homeowners with strong purchasing power)
  • Familiarity with paid + organic synergy
