We are currently seeking an experienced SEO & GEO Specialist to join our team in support of our US-based partner company, Second Screen Digital. Second Screen Digital is a full-funnel, data-driven marketing agency providing a wide range of services – from paid search and social to content production, UGC, SEO, and website design.
As an SEO & GEO Specialist, you will be responsible for driving organic search performance across Second Screen Digital clients’ websites on traditional search engines (Google, Bing), as well as AI-driven discovery platforms and generative search experiences. In this role, you will develop keyword and content strategies, while also executing technical and on-site optimizations.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute end-to-end SEO strategy for client websites
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and build strategic keyword roadmaps aligned with business goals
- Develop and execute content strategies designed to capture high-intent search traffic
- Perform on-site SEO optimization, including:
- Metadata optimization
- Internal linking strategy
- Content structure improvements
- Schema markup implementation
- Optimize websites for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to improve visibility in AI-driven search experiences
- Conduct technical SEO audits and partner with developers to implement improvements
- Track, analyze, and report on keyword rankings, organic traffic growth, and search visibility
- Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to implement SEO strategies effectively
- Identify opportunities to expand organic traffic through new keyword clusters, content initiatives, and technical improvements.
- Stay current with evolving search algorithms, AI search trends, and best practices
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in SEO strategy and execution, preferably working with agencies or multiple clients simultaneously
- Proven track record of improving keyword rankings and driving organic traffic growth
- Deep understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, content SEO, and keyword strategy
- Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-driven search platforms
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies
- Ability to work independently and fully own SEO performance
- Excellent English communication skills
- Knowledge of programmatic SEO – plus
- Experience optimizing for AI search results, answer engines, and large language model discovery – plus
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and website CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow) – plus
