We are currently seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Fractional CFO to join our team and support our partner company, Pivot Business Group. Pivot Business Group is a fast-growing financial strategy firm that partners with online service providers across various industries to deliver CFO services, tax strategy, financial consulting, and bookkeeping. Their mission is to help entrepreneurs achieve their growth goals with confidence.

As the Fractional CFO, you’ll work closely with multiple clients, ranging from startups to scaling businesses, providing high-level financial strategy, operational insight, and leadership. This is a client-facing, strategic advisory role, ideal for a CFO who thrives on variety, autonomy, and delivering meaningful impact without the confines of a full-time corporate role.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic financial partner to multiple client companies
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals
• Analyze and improve profitability through financial process optimization
• Lead cash flow planning and forecasting to ensure financial stability
• Build and manage financial dashboards, KPIs, and reporting systems
• Collaborate with clients on goal setting and financial roadmap development
• Advise on tax strategy and work with client accountants or tax partners
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership teams

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance leader
• Track record of working with small to mid-sized businesses, ideally in a fractional or consulting capacity
• Strong background in financial strategy, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Deep understanding of KPI-driven performance and financial systems implementation.
• Excellent communication skills—you can explain financial matters to non-financial stakeholders
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Comfortable managing multiple clients and shifting priorities
• CPA, MBA, or related credentials are a plus
