We are currently seeking an experienced Media Buyer (Performance Marketing) to join our team in support of our partner company, Mode Media. Mode Media is a rapidly growing affiliate network looking for a new team member who will work closely with leadership and play a key role in building and scaling partnerships that drive network growth and profitability by supporting both sides of the marketplace: affiliates (publishers) and advertisers.
As a Media Buyer, you will be focused on lead generation and newsletter growth, with a strong emphasis on Meta and native platforms, as well as emerging social channels.You will be responsible for managing significant ad spend, testing aggressively, and uncovering scalable opportunities across verticals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across:
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google
- Native platforms (e.g. Taboola, Outbrain)
- TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and other social channels
- Own performance KPIs including Cost per lead (CPL), Customer acquisition cost (CAC), Return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Scale campaigns profitably while maintaining efficiency targets
- Continuously test creatives (UGC, static, video) and audience targeting and bidding strategies
- Analyze campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities using data and attribution tools
- Collaborate with creative and product teams to improve conversion rates and user experience
- Launch and scale campaigns across multiple verticals (finance, rewards, subscriptions, etc.)
- Monitor trends, platform updates, and emerging traffic sources to stay ahead of the curve
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing $1M+ in annual ad spend
- Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads
- Hands-on experience with native platforms like Taboola or Outbrain
- Experience running campaigns on TikTok, Snapchat, and/or Pinterest
- Strong background in lead generation and/or newsletter acquisition funnels
- Demonstrated ability to scale campaigns across multiple platforms and verticals
- Advanced analytical skills with a strong understanding of conversion tracking and attribution, as well as A/B testing frameworks and funnel optimization
- Strong understanding of creatives that convert (especially UGC and direct response formats)
Nice to have:
- Experience in affiliate marketing or performance-based environments
- Familiarity with co-reg, email capture flows, or incentivized traffic
- Experience working with landing page builders (e.g., Unbounce, Leadpages)
- Knowledge of tracking setups (pixels, postbacks, server-side tracking)
- Experience scaling campaigns internationally
- Ability to write or direct high-converting ad copy and hooks
