We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Creative Director (direct response) to join our team in support of our US-based partner, AKIKA. AKIKA is the company behind My Derma Dream, a fast-growing, 8-figure DTC skincare and beauty brand founded in 2021, with a mission to help everyone fall in love with their skin again.
As a Senior Creative Director, you will lead the development and execution of all marketing initiatives, including new product launches, advertorials, and full-funnel ads. You will be accountable for overall performance, driving results against monthly and quarterly targets while shaping the creative direction and ensuring high-quality output across campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all creative output, including ads, advertorials, VSLs, and full-funnel assets.
- Lead new product launches from concept to go-live
- Develop and execute creative strategy across all channels (Meta, AppLovin, native, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure smooth execution and streamline processes
- Work with Media Buyers to analyze data and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Partner with the Marketing Data Analyst to visualize creative performance and align the team on key metrics
- Lead a high-performing creative team of 20 members, including Video Editors, Designers, Junior and Senior Copywriters, Marketing Ops Manager, Content Manager, Funnel Copy Chief, and Ad Copy Chief
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Media Buyers, Email Manager, Affiliate Manager, Google Media Buyer, Head of CRO, and Marketing Data Analyst
- Organize team alignment calls to review wins, losses, and next actions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or Senior Creative Lead in direct response or performance marketing.
- Strong experience across Meta, AppLovin, and/or native platforms (Taboola).
- Deep expertise in long-form direct response content, including VSLs and advertorials.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Highly data-driven, with a focus on testing, iteration, and scaling successful campaigns.
- Experience managing high creative volume and rapid testing cycles
- Ability to collaborate closely with Media Buyers and Creative Strategists to align performance and messaging
- Comfortable owning results and being accountable to revenue targets and performance KPIs
- Experience with additional channels (YouTube, Google, Email, other native platforms) – plus
- Excellent English communication skills
